Started in June 2000, Dorset & Wessex Motorcycle Training has quickly
established itself as one of the most popular and successful training
centres in the area. A family run business, the atmosphere is very
friendly and fun whilst retaining the important message of road safety.
Our students benefit from our instructors’ vast riding experience – combined,exceeding 50 years! Always updating instructional techniques, you can be assured of the very best training available, using the most up-to-date equipment.
You will be taught by one of our highly trained instructors. All our
instructors are fully approved with the D.S.A. We now
have the largest fleet of bikes, instructors and training sites in
Dorset, and wish to continue to hold our prime position in motorcycle
training. We feel this is the best way to offer quality training at the
right price.
Direct Access pupils enjoy a 1st time pass rate second to none,
averaging over 97%. Compare this to the National average of 46% and you know you’re coming to the right place. Our Compulsory Basic Training course is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and thorough in the area, with many of our customers coming through to us from personal recommendations from past pupils. Catering for all ages from 16 to (so far) 72, you can be assured of a training course tailored to individual needs. We also
use specially lowered bikes for our shorter riders allowing anyone access to the fantastic and rewarding world of motorcycling.
We have for 2007 decided to revamp our website to give our customers
more information, the ability to book appointments through our online-phoneback
system and the chance for our customers to leave us feedback. Once qualified we now have an advanced training course for
further instruction. This includes Pillion, Motorway and Night Training and can
also reduce insurance costs.
